Truck Stops (NZ) Ltd is New Zealand’s largest supplier of commercial vehicle parts and workshop services to the Road Transport Industry. Our network of nineteen branches throughout the country specialises in the repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles with franchises including Hino, Mack, Renault and Volvo.
An excellent opportunity has become available for a self-motivated and energetic person to join our busy Truck Stops Service Department in Wellington.
In this newly established position you will perform many different duties including: pick up and delivery of trucks and trailer, assisting with vehicle inspections/COFs, stock-takes, site management, vehicle grooming & general driver duties. You will provide support in the general daily operations of the branch, as you assist each department in completing their daily functions.
To be successful in this role you will be mechanically astute, with experience in the driving of heavy truck & trailers. You will be a sound communicator and hold a current drivers licence for classes 1 – 5. The role may require out of town travel on occasion, to assist with delivery of vehicles to other locations.
