Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill is a dynamic and ever-expanding locally owned and operated company currently looking for a human resources and administration superstar to join our People & Capability team.

The perfect candidate will embrace our One Team philosophy, and also have the ability to work independently. Administration experience is essential with a high level of attention to detail. Human Resource and payroll experience is preferred, but full training will be provided. Candidates would need to demonstrate that they can work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, complete work accurately, maintain confidentiality and show genuine care for people.

This position is a key part of our People & Capability team, and it is essential to be a people person who can adapt to all personality types. Working closely with the Leader of People & Capability and the General Manager the key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting our managers, team leaders and team within the human resources realm
• Maintain all paperwork and records accurately
• Assisting with the on and off-boarding of team members in the business
• Help support all training and development of our team members
• Ensuring employment agreements, position descriptions, policies and employment practices are up-to-date with current legislations
• Provide practical support and guidance to managers and team leaders as we embark on changes to working practices

The role is for 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Hours of work are negotiable for the successful candidate.
