The Plan Administration – Analyst is responsible for the provision of quality administration services to customers, clients and related stakeholders.

The Plan Administration – Analyst serves as a subject matter expert and source of knowledge concerning the needs of complex processes, system functionality, data management, data integrity and reconciliation analysis.

The Plan Administration – Analyst plays a key role in the Annual Review processes specialising in the more technical areas or reconciliations, statement data production, and final interest rate and Reserve Account calculations.

In this role, the Plan Administration – Analyst works closely with Team Leaders and Administration Specialists to ensure all technical aspects of scheme administration are completed to a high degree of accuracy.

The Plan Administration – Analyst also undertakes stakeholder reporting and ad-hoc tasks / projects as required.

Responsibilities;

Complex Processes and Escalations

  • Oversees and is accountable for all complex processes to ensure that they are completed within service level agreements and to a high standard of quality. This includes but is not limited to Insurance, Interest Rate, and Investment & Redemption processes.

  • Provides support to the team with escalated member and client enquiries.

Data Integrity and Reconciliations – Subject matter expert (SME) on the data we hold across various systems, extracting the data and performing analysis and reconciliations. Responsible for variance remediation with support from Fund Administrators

Annual Review Support – Providing technical and data support to the annual review processes of Schemes. This includes but is not limited to Reconciliations, Data Extracts, Auditor liaison, Statement Production and Group Life reviews.

Continuous Improvement – Promote and actively engage a continuous improvement culture within the team to ensure gains in quality, efficiency, risk reduction and enhanced customer experience.

Reporting – Ensures the completion of all client and regulatory reporting within the team is completed within service level agreements and to a high standard of quality.

Collaboration – Work and collaborate with other Administration Specialists across the operations team to ensure best practice is being carried out as well as participating in workshops to improve our processes.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Interested in learning ‘how stuff works’ and understanding how one tasks impacts another

  • Confidence and professionalism to communicate directly with customers – sometimes in challenging situations – both verbally and in writing, to deliver great outcomes

  • Computer skills (Intermediate Microsoft Office)

  • Great attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines

  • Initiative in making decisions and a desire to contribute towards continuous improvement
