The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is a non-profit body for advancing patient care in the clinical radiology and radiation oncology fields across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. We are seeking a part-time Policy Officer to join its New Zealand team. The College offers flexible working conditions in terms of days, hours and location. In return, we ask for your flexibility, as occasional evening work is required.
The role is an exciting opportunity for anyone with an interest in health-related policy. The NZ Policy Officer will be expected to be familiar with all government and industry developments that impact health generally, with a specific focus on radiology and radiation oncology.
The NZ Policy Officer will be required to draft responses, collate feedback, monitor policy developments, research, consult and draft policy material on a range of issues in collaboration with RANZCR staff and committee members.
You will be required to have excellent verbal and written skills, effective time management and effective stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting committees and consultations would be an advantage.
