Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The System Flow team provides oversight, support and monitoring to DHBs to ensure they deliver optimal Planned, Unplanned and National Services for their populations. We have an opporutnity for an experienced portfolio manager to Lead work programme initiatives to improve service design, workflows and outcomes across planned and acute services.
As a strong strategic thinker, you will take holistic view to help refine our work streams, define the future direction, and actively contribute to continous improvement to ensure we meet our delivery objectives and strategic outcomes.
Your proactive leadership approach means you will naturally work collaboratively and demonstrate expectational stakeholder management expertise.
As a Portfolio Manager in our System Flow team you will:
- Lead workstreams focused on improving the delivery of Planned and Acute care.
- Establish and implement service development and / or change management projects as agreed.
- Manage improvement initiatives with national, regional and local work-streams, in collaboration with sector groups including DHB staff and Professional Bodies.
- Provide project leadership, working with others to ensure work is well planned, using tools and methods including strategic and tactical approaches to achieve results through high quality advice.
- Promote initiatives to senior clinical and executive audiences.
- Establish excellent working relationships with external stakeholders including consumers, Maori, community and whanau, Pacific groups, and interest groups.
- Ensure all work reflects our responsibilities to the priority of equity and meeting Treaty obligations.
Mōu | About you
To be successful, we are looking for your skills in written and oral communication, relationship management, experience in influencing people, leading work programmes, change management and facilitation, coaching and mentoring staff. You will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field and / or equivalent experience.
