We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Neuromorphic Space Imaging to be part of the world leading International Centre for Neuromorphic Systems. The Fellow will perform research to better understand the potential of event-based cameras for space imaging and space situational awareness tasks.
Building on the existing space imaging results obtained with these sensors, the research will serve to characterise these sensors and processing algorithms analytically, theoretically and empirically – with the goal of producing a comprehensive set of specifications and characterisations tailored to end-users in the field of space situational awareness and space vehicles. The research will include software simulation and empirical testing both in the laboratory and on optical telescopes.

Remuneration Package: Academic Level A $98,712 to $119,260 p.a., (comprising Salary of $83,413 to $100,776 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
