We have a wonderful after school art programs and are seeking an exceptional Visual Art Teacher to join our team. This position is to teach art to children 6-10 years old.
Selection Criteria
- Required: Bachelor of Education in Visual Arts preferred
- Relief or previous teaching experience required
- Ability to work in a professional manner and establish positive working relationships with students, staff and parents
- Sound knowledge of art processes and techniques
- Creative, organized and enthusiastic teachers required
- Fluent English speaker
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Current Working with Children Check
This is a wonderful opportunity to work independently with a small team. Our classes have a maximum of 10 children per class who love art.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 4 per week
Salary: From $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
