About the role
We’re constantly expanding and growing which means right now we have a number of Production Technician’s positions available for highly passionate people to join our diverse and motivated manufacturing team. Our Production Technicians are at the heart of our business and are the ones responsible for producing our medical devices that help to heal millions of people around the world.
Our Production Technicians work in a highly regulated and quality-controlled environment which require you to be dressed up PPE gear and operate in a clean and hygienic environment. It also means the production process is very clear and concise. Workers in this team are required to understand and fluently speak English and have the capability to understand and follow instructions, policies and procedures accurately. The team are completing visual inspections of finished goods, are completing documentation (written and online using computers) and ensuring production plans are achieved. We’re also always working on continuous improvement projects that the manufacturing team are heavily involved with.
Shift Pattern & Payrate
Starting on dayshift initially for training, but then moving to afternoon shift (2:15pm to 10:45pm). The payrate for entry level starters is $23 per hour.
About you
All job training will be provided to new starters, therefore previous experience in not required but previous training in Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) and Quality systems would be advantageous. Through the recruitment process candidates will need to demonstrate that they:
- engineering technical experience preferable as this is a fabrication role
- excellent physical fitness and personal hygiene standards
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English)
- can follow instructions accurately and speak up when needed
- can work as part of a team and have a strong work ethic for turning up and supporting their team mates
- have the right to work in NZ (Visas will be checked at interview stage)
