About the role: This role is primarily responsible for assessing and reporting of product adherence against regulatory compliance standards and internal specifications. The key duties are:
- Ensure the effective measurement of product quality and compliance is maintained for the DWF and Charter Vessels.
- Ensure quality documentation and trending databases are maintained and accurate.
- Proactively working with DWF team to improve product quality, compliance and outcomes – e.g., training, time on vessels, customer complaints, non-conformances, and problem solving.
What you need to be successful in this role: You will be a highly motivated self-starter with a background in seafood or food processing industry experience. Having strong attention to detail and ability to accurately inspect product against specifications and regulatory standards is a must. Your strong interpersonal skills will encourage improvement of product quality within the DW team to ensure we strive to become the best seafood company in the world. The DW division is a reactive, demanding and fascinating part of our business where rolling up your sleeves to make things happen is part of our daily operation.
