Discovery Settlers Hotel is located in Whangarei, Northland. We are a 54 room hotel with on-site restaurant open for breakfast and dinners.
We are currently seeking a Duty Manager to join our team at Reception with Food and Beverage experiance, as a bonus, for this all rounder role.
Key Responsibilities of the role includes,
- Ensure smooth and efficient overall day-to-day operations of the Front Desk and Restaurant
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Checking in and out of guests, hotel reservations and liaising with all team members.
- Sharing your strong knowledge customer service to help deal with the front of house for the property.
- Handling requests and complaints, deferring to the Manager/Supervisor when necessary.
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of accuracy when inputting information into the booking systems.
This is and all rounder role that can jump in and do receoption duties, at the same time as being able to lend the hand to the dinner service as required.
