Receptionist – Administrator – Huntleigh Home – Part time

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist – Administrator that enjoys working in an environment where they get to know the teams around them and the people they are here to support in our Homes. This role is central to ensuring all visitors to the Home are appropriately welcomed, enquiries are efficiently dealt with and administration processes run smoothly.
Who are we looking for?
We are keen to hear from you if you enjoy being kept busy and being the first point of contact for visitors to our home. You will have a warm and welcoming approach and be confident dealing with a wide variety of people coming and going from our Home. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Providing meet and greet services on Reception
- Answering calls and responding to queries or directing to the relevant person
- Ensuring visitor protocols are understood and enforced
- Supporting routine administration within the Home
- Financial administration – invoicing, accounts payable and liaison with queries with the central finance team
- Covering for other Reception – Administration staff during periods of leave
This is a part time position working Sun (9-5pm) and Mon-Wed (9-3pm), it’s ideal if you are looking to juggle being at work with school and childcare or want to balance your week between working and the other activities you love to do!
About You
As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills and sense of humour. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect and bring this to the way in which you operate.
You will also:
- Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in an administration role, and understand basic accounts practices
- Have experience in customer service and have a pleasant telephone manner
- Be tech savvy and know your way around Microsoft Office and client management systems
- Be a great organiser and have strong prioritisation skills & attention to detail
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and to respond to the daily needs of the Home
- Hold a Covid vaccine passport – plus evidence of booster, where eligible
