Wairarapa Hospital is based in Masterton, and is within two hours from both Hutt Hospital and Wellington Hospital. Daily rail services link Wairarapa with the Wellington region, including the International Airport and Inter-Island ferry connections.
Would you like to join our small but dynamic team looking after the 7 bed Paediatric ward and SCBU unit? Our busy and dedicated team make a difference to our patients and their whanau.
We have available fixed term positions, full or part time, working rostered and rotating shifts.
We are looking for experienced Registered Nurse(s) with previous experience in Paediatrics and preferably SCBU, however SCBU training will be provided if required.
Applications will be considered from Registered Nurses who have proven clinical skills in nursing with at least 1 year post grad experience in acute medicine, surgery or paediatrics. This role will spend significant time nursing in the paediatric ward, therefore paediatric experience is preferred. If you are a nurse that likes variety in placement and the challenge of adapting quickly and easily to different clinical areas then this may be the job for you.
