The role/Te mahi
As a Research Fellow in the Department of Public Health, you will join a team of highly professional and dedicated staff, to provide research support within a project exploring the health and environmental benefits of sustainable New Zealand diets.
This project is funded by the Healthier Lives National Science Challenge from 2020 to 2023. The overall project aims to estimate the health and climate impacts of a sustainable and healthy New Zealand diet, and to explore specific strategies to shift consumption in Aotearoa towards this diet.

The consultation aims to engage with a range of stakeholder groups to identify potential policies or interventions that could be implemented in Aotearoa to shift consumption towards healthy and sustainable diets, with stakeholders’ feedback on barriers to change and suggestions for implementation.
