Reporting to the Out Stations Team Leader, the role of Ticket Sales Agent is primarily responsible for the sale of train tickets to passengers travelling on the Metlink’s Wellington rail network.
The role is based at Paraparaumu Railway Station and is part time at 62.5 hours per fortnight, from 12.25pm to 6.40pm Monday to Friday.
The role
You will be selling train tickets and providing travel advice and information to our customers. Although working alone, you would be part of a team responding to varied questions from the public. You will delight in providing outstanding customer service, constantly looking for ways to make your customers’ day! Working closely within a team environment is something you enjoy. Not fazed by the unexpected, you will respond to whatever comes your way in a calm and professional manner.
What you bring
You are a customer service maestro! Nothing is too much trouble for your customers.
You will have great attention to detail and look for continual improvement in your own work. Your cash handling experience and great communication skills will be an advantage in this role. You take pride in your personal presentation and strive to represent Transdev in the best possible light.
