Te Puna Hanganga, Matihiko | Infrastructure & Digital – Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, leads inclusive, accessible and integrated national, digital and physical infrastructure and transport services to the education system.
You will join our ICT Project Services Team. We take pride in our strong delivery commitment and the high standard of work it achieves.
Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
As a Scrum Master, your role will be instrumental in moving the Ministry of Education forward in adopting a more Agile delivery approach. You will be responsible for
- Advocating and championing Agile practices across our delivery teams
- Leading and facilitating Agile events
- Mentoring and coaching teams on Agile development processes
- Driving and influencing behaviour change

- Are you passionate about Agile and keen to empower teams in successfully adopting agile ways of delivering?
To be successful, you will ideally offer
- Prior experience working in a dedicated Scrum Master/Agile Facilitator role
- Excellent knowledge of Agile practices, Agile design practices, Agile development practices;
- Process improvement and continuous integration experience
- Demonstrated experience in developing high performance teams
- Ability to build strong relationships
- High emotional and social intelligence
- Pragmatic, collaborative approach to problem solving; comfortable with ambiguity
