Working within an enthusiastic, driven team of civil/structural engineers and designers, you will support building related design projects in the healthcare, education, defence and commercial sectors.

You will have the opportunity to further develop your engineering, design and management skills, working with internal and external clients and be involved in key stakeholder engagement processes, contributing to the growth of our business.

AECOM provides a great a place to work where we place a high priority on a fun and engaging work environment. Whilst the role is based in our Wellington office, we support flexible working arrangements including part-time hours and working from home.

Minimum Requirements

+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in building structures, ideally in a consultancy

+ Excellent knowledge and competency in structural building specification and design

+ Demonstrated skills in managing projects (or components of) and budgets to meet time and resource requirements

+ Solid experience with NZ codes, including seismic design and assessment

+ Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team

+ Clear and concise verbal and written communication

+ Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

+ Tertiary qualification in civil or structural engineering
