Our busy talent function within the People & Wellbeing Team have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Talent Advisor to join our team on a Fixed-term basis for parental leave cover from 25 July 2022 – 8 September 2023.

This role is both strategic and operational. You will provide specialised and tailored talent advice, guidance and support ensuring the efficient and effective delivery and coordination of recruitment practices across the Treasury. There is also scope to work on a range of strategic talent initiatives which will enable the Treasury to meet its current and future capability requirements.

It’s an exciting time as we look to raise the bar and be more competitive in a global and candidate short market. We are looking for someone to help drive the evolution of our talent offering by providing modern and innovative solutions, tools, approaches, activities and enhancements to deliver exceptional results.

  • Partner with people leaders across the Treasury to integrate and align talent solutions across the entire talent lifecycle
  • Promote, enable and execute pro-active direct sourcing strategies and build talent pools
  • Connect and build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Implement modern and innovative solutions and enhancements to systems, tools, processes and approaches
  • Lead and support a range of innovative recruitment projects and initiatives
  • Drive best practice and sector leading approaches across the talent lifecycle

An experienced and collaborative Talent professional, you will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and be excited to innovate and utilise technology to get the best possible results.

In addition, you’ll also bring:

  • Savvy recruitment skills with the ability to see a big-picture view and be familiar with the latest trends in talent acquisition
  • Experience as a trusted advisor with excellent consultative, strategic thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work, collaborate, and build strong relationships with a range of people across the organisation delivering to a high standard
  • An understanding of how the public service operates and how to achieve in an ever-changing environment
  • Proficiency with social media and direct sourcing solutions and embrace them to find the right, high-quality candidates
