We have a great opportunity available to join a friendly and professional Property Maintenance company based in Christchurch. With over 30 years’ experience in the industry, we pride ourselves on being an employer of choice with a skilled and dedicated team who go that extra mile for our clients.
We are looking for a part-time worker to service small commercial premises on a regular basis throughout the North Otago region. This is ongoing, routine work with flexibility to manage your own schedule. Hours vary and range between 20 – 40 hours per week.
A company vehicle and all necessary equipment will be supplied.

Key Duties:
- Light carpentry – i.e., maintenance and repair work
- Keeping sections tidy – mowing lawns, trimming edges, spraying weeds, setting & clearing rat traps
- Cleaning premises – mainly vacuum and dusting, with some cleaning of toilets and kitchens
Who we are looking for:
- A retired or semi-retired handy person (or someone looking for part time work) seeking long term work
- Physically able with a good level of fitness
- Ability to complete small maintenance jobs – i.e. change lightbulbs, repairs gates, doors etc
- Can work unsupervised – able to be given a list/agenda and sent out to jobs on your own
- Have your own smartphone – you’ll need to be able to take photos, record data using a job management ap and fill in timesheets
- Flexibility to work out of town
- Excellent Health & Safety practices
- Clear criminal history
- Can pass a drug screen
- Full CL1 licence and ability to tow a trailer
