About the opportunity:
At St John’s Primary, we’re looking for an experienced Teacher’s Aide to join our team to support the learning of our students. More specifically, you will:
- Provide small group support to students
- Working one-on-one with students with specific learning needs
- Maintain records of student achievement
- General classroom support
- Playground supervision of students
- Work creatively and constructively within a range of ‘communities’ inside and beyond the school and set high, achievable goals for themselves and their students
About you:
- Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation – Working with Children Check clearance
- Certificate III in Education Support (highly regarded)
- Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork
- High quality classroom teaching skills that enable students with a diverse range of needs to achieve their full potential
- Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.
