Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
UC’s Digital Services team has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Consultant to come join our Modern Workplace product team. The Modern Workplace product team is looking to build, develop and improve value to our customers, by providing a digital device experience that is more than just a device by enabling the UC Digital Strategy and broader UC strategic directives.
In this position, you will be an integral part of the team that develops and evolves the software deployment toolsets to support a Modern Managed device environment that is both enabling and cyber secure for the UC community. You will constantly explore, deploy and support, in an iterative way, new methods to enhance the user device experience, over the whole lifecycle, by extracting the most value out of our investment in existing and new digital platforms such as Microsoft Intune.
Mōu | Who You Are
To be successful in this position, you will have a strong interpersonal skills, to work with both teams and individuals, and have have a high degree of accuracy in your work. Additionally, you will ideally have the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree with substantial computing content or an appropriate tertiary (or industry) qualification
- At least five years’ experience configuring and managing PC or Mac workstations in a networked environment, using file and print servers
- Sound experience with the installation of a broad range of Mac or PC software applications
- Extensive experience in supporting computer systems
- At least two years’ experience in writing technical user-documentation
- Project work experience
