About the role:
Based at our Wellington campus, you will be responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders which includes students, teachers and the senior UPIC team. Some of your other the key duties will include:
- Help students understand how to access services in Wellington and New Zealand such as transport, banking, medical professionals etc
- Manage and create, daily, weekly, termly communications to students regarding processes such as subject selection, reports, surveys etc
- Facilitate the organisation of student onshore events to promote student wellbeing and assist with running orientation processes for the campus
- Produce accurate and engaging communication for a variety of audiences – staff and students – for example, the school digital screen, updates in handbooks etc
- Manage and liaise with finance department, preparing and coding via approval plus uploads, receipts, and invoices
- Coordinate relationships between UPIC and University partners, such as meetings, events, contacts
- Manage all communication and all visitors to the front desk, including signing-in and health & safety briefing.
About you:
You will describe yourself as an energetic people person who has a good command of the English language and the ability to communicate well to a diverse range of cultures and personalities. You will be very approachable, customer focused and a great source of information and support for our campus.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to speak Mandarin and read/write Chinese (simplified and traditional). You must also have
- Proven office management / administrative experience
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures and ICT proficient
- Knowledge of other languages will be an advantage
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Organisational and planning skills
- Time management skills
- Have an excellent ability to manage relationships.
