The Festive Lighting Company is seeking an Artworker to join the team in at our head office in Wellington, Somerset. We are in a rural location so own transport will be essential.
We are seeking to fill a full-time position however are open to this being shared between 2 part-time personnel. Provisionally a 9-5 working day however we can offer some flexibility for the ideal candidate.
What will I be responsible for?
As our Artworker, you will be part of a small, but busy in-house design team and will be visualising our beautiful lighting products in our customers’ chosen locations, literally turning day into night. An example of this would be displaying our product in a street or shopping centre.
Your key role will be to produce simulations and product images for our customers and promotional/marketing materials working alongside the graphic designers in the design team. The role will require you to work accurately and consistently to tight deadlines working closely with the lead graphic designer, the design team and regional account managers.
The ideal Candidate:
As the ideal Artworker you will have a degree or other higher education qualification in graphic design/art working or similar along with experience within a graphic design/art working environment (agency or in-house). You will also have the following skills and competencies:
- Exceptionally skilled in using Adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to follow processes and manage art working projects from initial concepts/scamps through to completed artwork stage.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for layout and design.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage workloads within agreed timescales.
- Ability to communicate professionally.

- Salary of £20,000 – £22,000 dependant on experience
