About the Role

Our Recruitment is super busy, This year has proved to be a year where Stantec has been successful in many new bids and selection onto several panels with our major clients. Coupled with a tight recruitment market, this has resulted in an upsurge in resource requirements in the business. We need a Talent Acquisition Advisor or HR Advisor who can pick up systems quickly to assist us with a wide range of tasks to ensure we are delivering excellent service to our internal clients. You will need to be adaptable to changing priorities, meeting tight deadlines and have an eye for detail. Longer term, there are opportunities to develop your career as a Talent Acquisition Consultant.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Uploading and managing role requisitions onto our recruitment database
  • Uploading and managing adverts onto various platforms
  • Manually entering CVs, transcripts, interview notes and ref checks onto Kenexa
  • Assisting with phone screens and reference checks on entry level roles
  • Initial screening of candidate applications via the database
  • Organising and confirming interviews with managers and candidates
  • Preparing information for job offers and Job Descriptions
  • Ensuring all declined candidates have been contacted
  • Assisting with recruitment campaigns

Qualifications:

About you

  • An aptitude for technology – proficient in Microsoft Office and able to use social media tools.
  • Methodical in approach, with the ability to use your initiative and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Professionalism, personal accountability and integrity are vital to succeed in this role

  • No talent acquisition administration experience necessary (we will train you) but you will have a genuine interest in the talent acquisition industry.
