Our Acute Stroke ward has a fantastic team that looks after clients from very culturally diverse backgrounds with complex and stimulating medical cases, while providing the highest standard of care.
With the increasing demand of our stroke services, we are looking for an outstanding senior nurse to take on this opportunity to be involved with a dynamic stroke team. We are looking for a leader, with exceptional clinical skills to help take the stroke service into the future; building upon the high level of clinical excellence currently provided by the stable experienced ward and stroke team.
As a clinical nurse specialist, you will be required to provide strong clinical skills, show high levels of professionalism and leadership skills, be a team player within a fantastic working environment. You will need great interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate with patients, their families and staff alike, have lots of enthusiasm and be very well organised. We are seeking a star performer who is patient focused, thrives on creating innovative solutions, has a commitment to quality improvement and the energy to maintain the very high standards currently in place within the stroke team..

Essential Criteria :
- New Zealand registered nurse with current APC
- Working at an expert/proficient level
- At least 5 years experience in stroke/medicine
- A strong clinical experience
- Post-graduate qualification or near completion
