CNC PRESS BRAKE & LASER OPERATORS
A top-notch modern Waikato Sheetmetal Engineering Factory specialising in light fabrication services with some of the most outstanding state-of-the-art machinery equipment available within the industry are looking for CNC Press Brake & CNC Laser Operators, to join their expanding team.
In return, you will work within a supportive and friendly team environment where all employees are invited to share their ideas to contribute to the success of the business. You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate, overtime rates & shift allowance.
Daily duties:
- Setting, adjustment & operation of CNC Press or CNC Laser machines
- Work from drawings providing input for design / manufacturing improvements
- Identify & recommend improvements to reduce machining time
- Measure, cut and press pattern development
- Programme units to accomplish jobs to deadlines
- Maintain accuracy and product quality standards
- Ensuring machines and immediate work areas are up to 5S standards
- Fault finding and performing operational maintenance on machines
- Strong adherence to Health and Safety practices
Experience we are looking for:
- Hands-on experience operating either CNC Press or CNC Laser
- Quality orientated with high attention to details
- Able to prioritise your tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work across a range of machine operations
- Strong communication skills and being an effective team player
- Integrity and professional standards, taking pride in your work
- Clean NZ Driver’s license
