We have positions available in our team at Te Pokapū Hapori, our Community Hub in central Wellington. Te Pokapū Hapori has been established to provide a safe, welcoming space for the diverse communities of Wellington to belong. Where they can socialise, play, study, create, and be active.We need people to join us to be the face of the team, welcoming our visitors and helping them access the services they require. This is a truly unique opportunity to make a difference in our city community and will be ideal for somebody who places high value on connecting with others and has broad experiences to be able to interact with a wide range of people from all backgrounds.We’re open to applications from people with varied backgrounds, but the most important attributes to bring include:
- The ability to communicate across cultures, ideally with experience in Te Ao Māori
- Some knowledge or experience of services and facilities that already exist in our community
- Adaptability and resilience to cope with huge variety and thrive on new experiences
