Being part of Healthvision’s Homecare Bureau, we are seeking people around Christchurch to assist our clients with their daily cares. Due to the client’s specific requirements, only Female Applicants will be considered for this role.
This rewarding role involves:
- Assisting clients with their personal cares
- Moving and handling using hoists and manual transfers
- Supporting exercise programmes
- Assisting clients with home help, shopping assistance, and meal preps
- Assisting the client to access the community
Our Casual Bureau is designed to support upcoming requirements on an as-need-basis suitable to those who have an interest in Healthcare and for those who are professional health cares. As it is casual employment, this means we will connect with you to discuss what shifts there are and if you are able to work them. However, this could potentially lead to a Permanent Opportunity. We are also looking for staff with prior healthcare experience who are looking for Permanent Employment Opportunities.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience supporting complex care clients with their daily needs (preferred)
- A full driver’s license
- A level 2 and above qualification in Health, Disability and Aged care (preferred)
- Previous experience preferred but comprehensive training will be provided
- Flexibility to cover shifts, do rostered work and comfortable working weekends
- Great communication skills
- NZ Residency or valid NZ Open work visa
