About the role

An exciting opportunity to be involved in New Zealand Rugby’s Community Concussion Initiative has opened in the North Harbour Region. The Community Concussion Initiative includes community-based concussion awareness, education, healthcare provider engagement, and concussion management through an app-based Concussion Management Pathway.

The primary role of this position will be to assist with the administration, implementation, and evaluation of the Concussion Management Pathway. This includes the coordination and implementation of the Concussion Initiative in North Harbour Rugby Union with both Secondary School rugby teams and Senior Club rugby team. You will also be liaising with players and stakeholders and providing data collection/analysis and reporting/publication support.


About you

To be successful in this role you will be an administration expert and ideally have experience working with statistical data/analysis in a project environment. You will have a relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in sport and exercise science, psychology, or other health-related fields, or equivalent experience.

In addition to your great communication and stakeholder management skills, you will also be tech savvy and happy to work autonomously. You will also need to have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.


Please note, this is a contract for services engagement for up to 20 hours per week.
