About School Infrastructure
School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
About the role
The purpose of the role is to ensure quality management of construction of new schools and upgrades of existing schools is implemented across NSW.
Quality management of construction ensures that SINSW can provide high quality, functional and safe teaching spaces for the lifespan of the school.
The successful applicant will be part of a high functioning team of quality professionals committed to the continuous improvement of School Infrastructure.
Essential requirements of the role
- Current general construction induction card (White card).
- Current drivers licence and ability to travel to SINSW sites.
Key knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
- Extensive experience in, and knowledge of, infrastructure construction and its practical application in relation to regulatory and industry standards.
