The role
This is a part-time role and you will be working 24 hours per week, based in either Christchurch OR Wellington. Manage the Accounts Receivable ledger for assigned markets across Mediaworks, ensuring the management of debtor accounts, the timely collection and follow up of outstanding debts according to set Company collection and ageing targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review all new Client account applications via SalesForce, including credit references, Companies Office, Veda checks. Ensure adequate information to assess risk of extending credit
- Maintain debtor files. Ensure all correspondence is attached to debtor accounts including notes on collections
- Follow up outstanding clients ensuring company ageing and collection targets are met monthly
- Prepare monthly debtor reports including commentary on outstanding debtors for review with Shared Services Manager and Regional Managers
About you
- 2-3 Years Accounts Receivable / Credit Control or General Accounting Experience
- Attention to detail with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
- A natural problem solver
