The Facility Assistant provides support to clinical teams by ensuring the facility is maintained to a high standard and is always patient-ready.
This position works on a rostered basis. You must be available to work on a 7 day roster that covers all 365 days a year.
- Providing excellence in service to patients, their families, and whanau by ensuring their comfort while in the facility
- Ensuring clinical and patient areas are stocked appropriately and kept tidy
- Undertaking appropriate procedures and audits to ensure the facility and equipment is maintained to the highest standard
- Checking and ordering stock

- Able to prioritise and manage time effectively
- A sensitivity to other cultures while respectfully delivering services
- A demonstrated team player
- Relationship building skills
- A good standard of written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer literacy including basic Excel and online ordering skills
