The Boat Shed Cafe and Bistro, located on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, is the perfect place to enjoy a fine coffee, breakfast or lunch and we are looking for hospitality rockstars to join our front of house team and a superstar kitchen steward to join the kitchen team.
As a Boat Shed cafe employee you will fulfil the following tasks and skills, including but not limited to:
- Maintain professional service standards at all times
- Ensure effective communication between front of house and kitchen
- Be willing and motivated to continue developing your food and beverage service skills
- Attention to detail and accurate cash handling
- Maintain personal grooming standards as well as maintaining the cafe cleaning requirements
- Follow all health and safety compliance and hygiene standards
- Be able to make a coffee of NZ barista standard or be willing to learn
- Show initiative, work well under pressure and work well in a team!
Previous experience working in a high volume service cafe is essential
