The Role:
On their behalf we are to appoint a very person to take ownership of their Spa refurbishment department.
This is a hands-on role where you will
- Repair and refurbish spa pools for customers or trade-in spas
- This includes – Plumbing work, Woodwork, Component Fitout and Accessory Fitout (sound systems, lights etc), Surface Repairs & Leak Repairs
- Grow your skills to become Spa technician, and be able to perform any specialized spa service, or repair work, at a customer’s home if needed.
- Perform diagnostic tests on defective parts
- Provide phone based technical advice / guidance to customers if required
- Complete the fit-out of accessories in spa pools and associated products prior to delivery or pick-up
- Assist with transportation, set up /pack-down at trade shows & events
- Assist the warehouse team with picking and packing during busy periods
- Assist with inwards/ outwards processing of spa pools & associated products
- Unloading / loading trucks & containers for distribution
- Participate in training and development
- Manage a virtual inventory location required for all spa pool repairs
- Perform inventory management, pre planning stock requirements & stocktakes.
The role will suit someone who:
- Will assume responsibility for the Spa Repair and Refurbish department
- Takes pride in ones work and completes it to a high standard.
- Has quite a wide range of technical and hands-on building skills
- Will manage their workload effectively.
- Will go the extra mile & put in a bit of overtime if needed.
- Who is active, fit with good energy and proactive in their work habits
- Organised work methods. Process driven and an eye for detail.
- Keen to learn. We are not expecting you to know much about spas when you first start. ( Bonus if you do)
- Problem solving and diagnostic skills
- Some warehousing experience would be ideal. Forklift driving skills a bonus
- Technically minded. Any experience repairing electrical appliances or similar
- Is a team player. Will actively support the warehousing team when needed
- Strong work ethic. Strong customer service skills.
- Computer skills
- Full driver’s license.
This is a great role for someone who wants to be active and enjoys hands on work. It could suit a semi-retired builder, who wants to get off the building site.
Or just someone who really enjoys this sort of work and will enjoy being responsible for an important department for the business. The work is stable, consistent and for a leader in the industry. The team is hardworking but enjoy a bit of a laugh.
