We make a product called BlueWorx – it’s a mobile Asset Management app and we have customers all over the world who use it. Asset Management might not sound too exciting – but it really can be. Think about all of the walking tracks and bridges and huts that are in our parks? How are they managed and looked after? Think about cell towers, or windmills or power stations? Think about manufacturing machinery….think about aircraft …think about pretty much anything tangible and someone’s job is to ensure it is well maintained – this is called ‘asset management’ and our customers use our BlueWorx product in the field, all over the world. There are several mobile AM products available in the market – but BlueWorx is truly in a league of its own – that’s the feedback we constantly get. As in c-o-n-s-t-a-n-t-l-y !!

For us, technical skills are one thing, but attitude and passion are the thing that we look most at.
Does the folloiwing describe you?
- You’ve graduated in the last year or two with a Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering)
- You have a passion for making solutions that work for end users and delivers business value.
- You are inventive and practical in your approach to problem solving.
- You’re capable of being a ‘full stack’ developer from technical design and delivery through testing, deployment and support
- You work well and collaboratively within a team.
- You have good written and verbal English communication skills.
- You have knowledge and delivery experience of JavaScript programming.
- You are self motivated and capable of self learning. You’re always exploring new ways of doing things and challenging your own knowledge. If you don’t know something, you seek to find out.
Our ideal candidate will have experience communicating directly with customers, or certainly be keen to do that. It’d be great if you also had experience with iOS, Android or Visual Studio development , but we can teach you. In fact, there will be alot to learn in this role – we use a few technologies that you won’t have heard about, so won’t have experience with. The first 6 months you’ll be learning, learning, learning – and this is why a great attitude and absolute passion is so vital. There’s a lot to get through but it’ll be worth it, we assure you!
Our team is close knit and they have good fun. They work in the office a few days a week and from home the rest – we have all the remote tools to support working flexibly but we know the magic happens when we can pull up a chair, get lost in a whiteboard session and nut something out together. Pizza optional.
