TES has a unique opportunity for an individual to join the TES Managed Deployment team to work with our clients in multiple locations throughout Sydney. This is a customer-facing role where you will be deploying and installing computers and other IT assets on client sites throughout Sydney.
This opportunity presents as being casual – offering a competitive rate starting at $27.14 per hour plus 10% superannuation. This is a great opportunity for students studying IT at TAFE or University to start their career in the IT industry
Responsibilities of the Position includes:
- Setting up computers, desktops and laptops.
- Assisting staff with support for computers, laptops, printers, tablets, mobiles and VoIP Telephone hardware and associated software applications;
- Configuring & deploying computers, laptops, printers, tablets, mobiles & other devices.
It is important that you are familiar with:
- The installation of IT hardware
- Configuring and troubleshooting computers and laptops
- Networking fundamentals of computers, printers, and other devices
- Cabled and Wireless LANs;
- Microsoft Windows environment;
- Microsoft Office Applications.
- Imaging tools
To be considered for this role you will:
- Be customer focussed
- Be able to deal with confidential information
- Complete a national police check
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work
- Have a high attention to detail
- Have good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Additionally, a Working with Children Check will be highly favourable.
