Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Outreach Coordinator to join the marketing team within the Te Kaupeka Toi Tangata | Faculty of Arts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, and implementing the Art Faculty’s marketing, communications and outreach activities.
The Faculty of Arts is vibrant place, offering you the opportunity to get creative with a range of new developments and projects. You will be part of a small Marketing and Outreach team, with the primary focus of attracting a diverse range of domestic and international students for the Faculty. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of online and offline marketing strategies and help to raise the profile of the Faculty including UC publications, blogs, websites and recruitment brochures. You will be organising events such as open days, careers expos and campus tours as well as coordinating general Faculty of Arts activities.
Mōu | Who You Are
We are ideally looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills and a real passion for marketing. You will have previous experience in a marketing or communications role and ideally a relevant qualification to support this. We are also looking for the following skills and experience:
- experience in the development and implementation of marketing and communication plans
- knowledge of New Zealand secondary school environments is a bonus
- strong time management and organisational skills
- ability to work in a team as well as independently on projects
- experience in an outreach role would also be an advantage.
