The kindergarten is well resourced and has a great indoor/outdoor flow. The grounds are spacious and there are well established vegetable and fruit gardens.
There is a high level of community spirit at Raumati South Kindergarten with parents involved in gardening projects and giving parental support during sessions. Parents and whānau are seen as key partners in the teaching and learning process
We are licenced for 45 children who attend for 6 hours each day. You will join our team of 4 other teachers.
This role is .575 (23 hours) worked over the following five days:
Mon (4.5hrs) 11.30am to 4.30pm (including 1/2hr unpaid break)
Tue (4.5hrs) 11.30am to 4.30pm (including 1/2hr unpaid break)
Wed (4.5hrs) 11.30am to 4.30pm (including 1/2hr unpaid break)
Thur (5.5hrs) 10.00am to 4.00pm (including 1/2hr unpaid break)
Fri (4hrs) 11.00am to 3.00pm
