Building Service Contractors of NZ (BSCNZ) is the trade association for the NZ Cleaning industry – we represent many employers who require the services of Commercial Cleaners throughout NZ. You will be employed directly by one of our members who will provide you with an employment agreement, uniform, any required PPE, and tools of trade. Previous Commercial Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our member is looking for two self-motivated, switched-on individuals to work within a small team and make things happen. This is a great role which offers loads of variety in your working week where you will be cleaning twenty set sites ranging from building construction sites to medical centres to professional offices to name a few. No two days are the same this is a mix of Routine/non routine work which include but not limited to
Routine
- Cleaning of various sites
- Service and maintain public areas
- Static mop, sweep, wet mop, buff floors
- Vacuuming and clean rugs and carpets
- Spot clean carpets
- Clean lifts and stairwells
- Safety check and storage of equipment
- Dust, damp wipe, and polish furniture etc
Non-Routine
- Stripping and re-finishing floors
- Scrubbing floors with machines
- Light fixture vacuuming and washing etc
- Moving furniture
- Window washing
