We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Whānau & Communities Group to lead and develop our Long Term Conditions Nurse Practitioner Service in Hawkes Bay.

Are you a Nurse Practitioner that can drive transformational change and develop comprehensive models of care for Nurse Practitioners and advanced nursing roles within an integrated community team? Then this position is for you!

This is a great opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive team who are passionate about improving services for our whānau in their local communities. You will work closely with Whānau and Communities leadership team, and the specific long term conditions service mangers. This position will also provide supervision and mentorship to the Whānau & Communities Nurse Practitioners team members, and mentorship and support to nurses on or embarking on the NP pathway.

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner Lead who has demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in partnership and show effective communication skills in order to maintain good working relationships. They will need to have a positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and a creative “can do” attitude.

This position provides variety and a chance to be part of a team that supports innovative change that supports new models of care that will improve access and health outcomes for people in Hawkes Bay.

Applicants must hold a current Annual Practising Certificate, with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Nurse Practitioner and have a clean drivers licence.
