Bread & Butter Bakery, located in Central Auckland / Grey Lynn, is looking for someone to support our team of packers in our night shift.
This position will be part of a small team of packers, who are responsible for packing orders for wholesale customers. As a packer, you will be responsible for accurate processing and packing of orders, following up of packing mistakes, communication with the production teams and management, and being a team player.
We make a large range of natural leavened, organic sourdough breads, bread rolls, and yeasted products, pastries, cakes and biscuits.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Some understanding of production and baking techniques
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent time management
- NO ISSUES with working night shift
- An excellent command of the English language
- The ability to work well with others and under pressure in a busy environment
- MUST HAVE own transport as the position has late night starts and early morning finishes
- A commitment to high personal and professional standards
Weekend availability a must! This position offers approximately 20 – 30+ hours per week, including weekend work when needed. In exchange for your skills and commitment, you will receive the opportunity to advance your career by working with a large variety of different products and as part of a team of professional, experienced pastry chefs and bakers.
