Our Sydney office currently has an exciting opportunity available for an intelligent and highly motivated paralegal to join our Corporate Insurance team led by Partner, Avryl Lattin.

We invite applications from law students who are available 2 days per week to assist across the full practice. You will have the opportunity to assist with the day to day matter management, research, drafting of memoranda and undertaking document review, all with the support of junior and senior lawyers in a highly collaborative team. This role is exciting and varied, giving you exposure across various areas of Corporate Insurance law.

Key skills and experience

To be considered for this position you will:

  • Be at least in the 3rd year of your law / dual degree
  • Be available either Monday and Tuesday or Tuesday and Wednesday
  • Be immediately available (preferred)

To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong academic history, in particular any law subjects undertaken to date
  • High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-driven with excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Highly collaborative
  • A can-do attitude; someone who takes initiative, and is a quick learner
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and adaptable approach.

This role is based at our Sydney office, and it is a requirement of entry to this office to be fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine. If successful, candidates will need to provide evidence to demonstrate compliance with this requirement (or a valid exemption) prior to commencing the role.
