The Opportunity
Grab the opportunity to join a well-accredited medical facility in the Canterbury region, as a permanent general practitioner. An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate. The working hours are negotiable, you can either work as a full-time or part-time general practitioner with a team of nurses and social workers.
The Medical Facility
The medical centre provides primary health care services, after hours care, adult & child health care, nursing care, social work support.
- Opens on Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
- Opens on Tuesday & Thursday from 9.00 am – 12.00 pm
The Location
This location is a region on New Zealand’s South Island marked by grassy plains, clear lakes and snow-capped mountains. Its largest city, Christchurch, is famed for its art scene and green spaces like the riverside Botanic Gardens, recovering after earthquakes in 2010 and 2011. To the west, Aoraki Mount Cook National Park hosts the country’s highest mountain as well as the 27km-long Tasman Glacier.
Qualifications & Experience
- To apply for this role you must hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be a fellow of RNZCGP.
