Petone Kindergarten – Fixed term Part-time .6 Teacher – Whānau Manaaki – Wellington

The kindergarten is situated close to the vibrant Petone shopping and café centre and is close to both Lower Hutt and Wellington. It reflects the diversity and heritage of the local community.

We are licenced for 40 children who attend for 6 hours each day for up to 5 days per week. You will join our team of 4 other teachers.

This fixed term starts asap or as negotiated and will conclude 23rd December 2022 and is linked to extended leave been taken.

This .6 (24hrs per week) Teaching role is worked over five days over the following:

Mon 3.25hrs (11.30am – 2.45pm)

Tue 4.5hrs (11.30am – 4.30pm) (includes 1/2 hr unpaid lunch break)

Wed 4.5hrs (11.30am – 4.30pm) (includes 1/2 hr unpaid lunch break)

Thu 6hrs (8am – 2.30pm) (includes 1/2 hr unpaid lunch break)

Fri 5.75hrs (8am – 2.15pm) (includes 1/2 hr unpaid lunch break)
