We invite applications for Physiotherapists to join our Learning Support team at the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry of Education Wellington Region Learning Support team provides a friendly and supportive working environment. Physiotherapists in learning support work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with students, their families, educators, schools, and community agencies to provide a range of assessments and interventions to meet the physical needs of children and young people in educational settings.
An opportunity exists for 3 physiotherapists to join our Learning Support Ministry of Education. The appointees will provide services across Wellington City, Hutt Valley, and surrounding suburbs.
Knowledge of working in a culturally responsive way is required given our commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
Successful Physiotherapist candidates will have:
- A degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- New Zealand Physiotherapy Board registration
- A current annual Practicing Certificate
- A full New Zealand driver’s licence as travel is a requirement for the role.
