Job Description
Gift Collective seeks a part time program coordinator to help grow an exciting growing new venture in the charity sector in Aotearoa.
Gift Collective provides fundholding services for charitable initiatives. We help them to fundraise, get grants, and pay expenses—without needing to incorporate or register their own charity. Projects also get set up on our powerful online platform for transparent crowdfunding and community engagement. We handle the paperwork and back-office admin, so they can keep focused on their kaupapa and mahi in the community.

Role description
A 6-month part-time fixed-term contract, with potential to transition to a permanent role. $28/hr for 16 hours/week (flexible schedule). You will work in our office in central Wellington, with the option to work remotely sometimes, joining our friendly 5-person team.
This role spans a few areas:
- Support
- Respond to queries from projects, donors, and partners
- Assist with onboarding and help people understand our processes
- Check in regularly with our projects to offer support and know their progress
- Compliance
- Understand the details of our compliance policies and apply them in practice
- Contribute to developing systems to maintain compliance as we grow
- Track grant reporting requirements and other contract deadlines/obligations
- Communications
- Contribute to outreach and marketing
- Write case studies and blog posts about our work
- Assist with grant applications and reports
- Create and improve documentation and help materials
- Admin
- Help check and process expense payouts and process incoming donations
- Assist with various operational projects as they arise, such as setting up new services, improving systems, etc
