Our Information Services department works as one team to provide technology-enabled business growth putting our customer’s energy future at the centre of everything we do. We are dynamic, skilled and passionate about helping Powerco transform to a digital utility. We are investing across a spectrum of IT and Telecommunications services including optical fibre infrastructure.
The energy industry is one of the most exciting places to be today. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to work within our Telecommunications team. You will play a key role managing the work to deploy fibre infrastructure for our stakeholders. This is a hands-on in-the-field role requiring travel around the fibre routes on a regular basis.
You will have many years’ experience managing large technology projects including telecommunications infrastructure projects and vendor management. You’ll be able to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to speaking with a range of technical staff as well as providing information for executive consumption. You will also be systematic, pragmatic and a good negotiator, able to manage field contractors. You’ll grasp our business and be passionate about seeing continuous improvement in action. We think you’ll love the culture of openness and getting stuff done and thrive on being involved from the start to finish.
