Research Officer/Senior Research Officer –NCIRS What is on offer?

Exciting opportunity to conduct research to inform immunisation policy and practice development at this crucial time – Join a cross-disciplinary team supporting immunisation programs in Australia and the region

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute to the planning and conduct of surveillance, evaluation and research at NCIRS
• Support the Centre’s role in developing evidence-based national immunisation policy and national surveillance and evaluation activities
• Primary focus on surveillance and vaccine coverage analysis and reporting activities
• Contribution to the management of surveillance datasets and NCIRS’ data linkage program,
• Synthesis of scientific biomedical and public health literature – analysis and interpretation of data (including national vaccine-preventable diseases, vaccine coverage and vaccine safety datasets)

This appointment will be full-time temporary until June 2023, with a possible extension. This position is multi-level Health Manager Level 1 to Health Manager Level 2 – depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience. Part-time hours may be considered for the preferred candidate.
