We are currently seeking a motivated Retail Salesperson to join our highly motivated and successful retail team in Otaki.
About the Role
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday, with a Saturday morning roster system. We are flexible around hours, so if you’d prefer to work less than full time let us know the hours that suit you!
This is an opportunity which will see you providing great service to shareholders in our retail store. You will also:
- Give advice to customers on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock and general agricultural products
- Operate a point of sale (POS) system
- Help out and maintain the bulk store
- Complete administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock
About You
To be successful in this role, an affinity with the farming sector is essential as well as the following:
- A full clean driver’s license
- A customer focused attitude and sound customer service/retail experience
- Some agricultural and/or horticulture knowledge
- Be physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks
- Sound computer skills
Farmlands operates a Saturday morning roster system, so availability for this is also essential
