• 4 FTE (working nights 4 on 4 off roster 12hr shifts)
• Predominantly doing EMS and Mobile Patrols, but you may be required to cover static shifts/lunch breaks and provide emergency cover.
• Full Drivers Licence (clean no driving convictions)
• Clean Criminal History (the clean slate act does not apply and any convictions will come up during our screening process)
• COA
• Paid on the job training provided by First Security. Approx 2wks+
• Ability to De-Escalate, Situational Awareness, Confident, Presentable, Calm and collected, Good clear communicator, Minimal technical skills required.
EMS Overview
The purpose of this role is to install and respond to alarm escalations for offenders/defendants serving home detention or non-custodial sentences. Officers will enter offenders/defendants homes to install electronic equipment including bracelets and base stations. Accurate and effective response to all call outs following the procedures, protocols, and guidelines as set by FIRST Security, the Department of Corrections, and the Monitoring Centre Management.
