The Penguin Arms is a well known and established Pub and restaurant opening right in the heart of town, across from the New Brighton Library. We need an enthusiastic team to grow into not just the newest, but the best restaurant in town!

We are now hiring waitstaff in anticipation for start asap.

Suitable applicants should have:

• A friendly, warm personality.
• Prior customer service experience. However, if you possess a great personality this is not a requirement.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• An LCQ certificate or Duty Managers Certificate is an advantage.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• We require all staff have a valid vaccination certificate in order to fully operate under the orange and red traffic light levels.
• Applicants for this position should have NZ residency.
• Greeting & serving customers.

• Average knowledge of alcohol act.

• Cleaning tables and glasses.

• Hours can be from 15-30 per week.
